Some things don't announce themselves. They just erode, quietly, until one day you notice the wall's gone hollow and nobody can say exactly when. That's the feeling behind this one. Not a headline. A slow leak.
🎵 NEW: "Sooner Or Later" — Watch the Video
Sooner Or Later isn't aimed at one target. It's a loose metaphor for where the country's sitting right now. Fresh paint over old damage. Calm voices explaining things that don't add up. A story that gets finished by noon, tidy and convenient, while the truth is still out there somewhere on the shoulder of the road. This one isn't angry. It's tired. There's a difference, and most days it feels like the second one is closer to the truth of things.
Watch it. Sit with it. It's not the kind of song that needs sharing so much as it needs hearing.

Why This One, Why Now?
Every road is supposed to have two directions. Lately it feels like we only ever get told about the one. Somebody clears the lane, measures the tire marks, calls it handled, and traffic finds its rhythm again like nothing happened. Maybe nothing did. Or maybe the story just came together faster than the truth could catch up to it. That gap, between what's said and what actually gave way, is where this song lives.
This isn't cynicism. It's closer to grief. There's a version of this country that doesn't need the walls painted over every summer, where damage gets called damage instead of getting managed into something more palatable. We wrote a song for that version, and for the sinking feeling that comes from watching the gap between here and there get a little wider every year.
It shouldn't be this way. That's the whole song, really. Everything else is just melody.
