We're a group of common-sense veterans and like-minded patriots who've had enough of the paradigm shift being forced down our throats by the likes of Donald Trump, the alt-right, Christian Nationalists, and the Heritage Foundation. We reject the dogmatic, divisive ideologies that are threatening to tear our country apart.
Newsflash: we're not "woke" just because we're left-leaning. We're woke because we've seen the devastating effects of systemic racism, sexism, and homophobia on our communities. We’ve also seen the results of such plagues on other societies where unchecked nationalism led to genocide and we're not ashamed to say it. If those in power can't accept criticism, then they should be prepared to grow thicker skin.
We're not interested in playing nice with people who want to dismantle the very fabric of our society. We won't apologize for calling out Donald Trump's fascist tendencies, or for pushing back against the alt-right's brand of white nationalist bullshit. If that makes us "un-American," then so be it. We'll take the bet.
But we're not just stopping at domestic politics. We're taking aim at the global threats that imperil our way of life.
We stand lockstep in unison against hybrid warfare efforts directed against the United States and its allies. Those responsible for these attacks will be declared war upon. We reject the notion that our democracy is a weakness to be exploited, or that our people are somehow less worthy of freedom and self-determination. We will not accept the end goal of illiberal democracy, where the rule of law gives way to an autocracy with a ballot box. We will not stand idly by while our allies are bullied, blackmailed, or coerced into submission.
Those who think they can push us around, who think they can exploit our differences or our vulnerabilities, should be preparing for a fight. We're not just talking about military force – we're talking about economic, diplomatic, and informational warfare. We'll use every tool at our disposal to disrupt, to degrade, and to dismantle the networks of oppression that seek to undermine our values.
What we stand for:
A return to sanity and civility in our politics.
An end to systemic racism, sexism, and homophobia.
A rejection of Christian Nationalism and its attempts to impose a theocratic government on our country.
A commitment to science-based solutions over pseudoscience and ideology-driven policy.
A healthy dose of skepticism towards anyone who tries to push their agenda down our throats.
Who we are not:
Politically correct pussies who can't handle a little controversy.
Complicit enablers of oppression who want to keep the status quo.
Insincere "allies" who only show up when it's convenient.
