Ruled a Suicide

Six Black men. Six deaths. Six sets of questions that should not be brushed aside.

We are not claiming that every one of these deaths was murder. We are saying something much simpler: no grieving family should be handed a conclusion without a complete, credible, and transparent investigation.

When a Black man is found hanging from a tree, history enters the room whether officials want it there or not. That does not replace evidence. It makes careful evidence, public accountability, and honest answers even more important.

It is not 1955.
It is not supposed to feel like 1955.

Say their names accurately. Release the findings. Correct the rumors. Answer the families. If the investigations were thorough, transparency should strengthen public trust, not threaten it.
